Finally, actress Rani Mukerji and producer Aditya Chopra seem ready to take their alleged relationship to another level: marriage.
Buzz is that the duo has decided to settle down and tie the knot early next year, most likely in January. The rumours about their clandestine romance have been one too many, and some even allege that they are already hitched secretly, though we take that with a pinch of salt.
Sources are quoted as saying that Aditya Chopra’s mom Pamela Chopra is in consultation with a priest and astrologer to work out an auspicious day for the wedding of the Yash Raj Film’s scion.
Rani and Aditya were reportedly slated to tie the knot last year, but the wedding was postponed due to the demise of Yash Chopra, to whom Rani was very close. Her closeness to the late filmmaker was apparent when Rani broke down in tears at the unveiling of a Yash Chopra statue in February this year.
But now that the first and only year of mourning is going to pass in October this year, the talk of Rani and Aditya’s marriage has already gained mileage. Moreover, let’s not forget that the younger Chopra son, Uday Chopra, is also in the queue to settle down.
Some say the plans and preparations for Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra’s wedding have already begun, but since Adi is an extremely reclusive and private person, things are being kept hush-hush.
