July seems to be a month of trials and tribulations for Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan,On July 6th his trial regarding the Black Buck poaching case began in Jodhpur.

The cross examination of the main prosecution witness by the defense lasted for about two and half hour. The prosecutions witness Poonam Chand was questioned by Khan,s Counsel Hastimal saraswat on the basis of the recorded statements of the then forest officer Lalit Bodo on october 11 1998.Saraswat pointed out that Poonam’s statements did not match with with the ones given to the forest officer in 1998.
As per sources,Poonam Chand said how he and another eyewitness,Choga Ram had tried to dissuade Khan and his friends Saif , Neeelam,Sonali Bendre, Tabu after they had seen him driving after the Blackbucks.
There are a total of 51 witnesses in this case regarding the poaching of Blackbucks in the Kankani area and after Salman Khan,s Counsel the counsels of other stars too will be cross-examining them.Seems like a long drawn procedure .
