The sangeet ceremony of TV actress Shweta Tiwari and her beau Abhinav Kohli turned out to be a celebratory affair with the couple shaking a leg along with Shweta’s daughter Palak.
Shweta Tiwari looked resplendent at her sangeet ceremony on Friday, dressed in an embellished blue anarkali lehenga. The groom-to-be Abhinav Kohli was dressed in a brown sherwani with golden threadwork. The couple looked happy and they cordially accepted greetings from their many friends and well-wishers at the sangeet ceremony in Mumbai.
Bhojpuri singer Manoj Tiwari set the evening rolling with his songs and the ceremony saw performances by a number of TV actors.
Shweta Tiwari’s friends and co-actors had been rehearsing for the sangeet ceremony. Shweta’sParvarrish co-star Barkha Sengupta, and her on-screen daughter, Aashika Bhatia, had rehearsed to perform to the songs like ‘Radha’ and ‘Chammak Challo’. Sparsh Khanchandani, another child artist from the serial, came prepared to dance to ‘Gun gun guna re’ from Agneepath and ‘Katiya karoon’ from Rockstar.
Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav Kohli are set to tie the knot on 13 July. The wedding reception will be held on 17 July.
