Spotted: Salman Khan with sisters at Mumbai court!!

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan arrived at Mumbai Sessions Court on Friday accompanied by his sisters Alvira and Arpita for a hearing in the 2002 hit-and-run case. It was a crucial day for Salman Khan as the charges were to be framed in the case in which he will be booked under the stringent culpable homicide not amounting to murder charge. If convicted under this charge, Salman could face imprisonment of up to 10 years. However, the court deferred the hearing to July 24 when the charges against the superstar are likely to be framed. The hit-and-run case dates back to September 28, 2002 when Salman Khan’s Landcruiser, allegedly driven by the actor himself, ran over people sleeping on the pavement outside a Bandra bakery. One person died and four were injured in the accident. The prosecution alleges that Salman was drunk and driving at a very high speed. The actor was previously tried for a lesser charge of rash and negligent driving, but the prosecution demanded that the superstar be tried for the stringent charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Last month, a Mumbai court had upheld that the actor would be tried for harsher charge.
