Shah Rukh Khan accused of allegedly conducting illegal sex determination?

Sex determination is illegal in India and reports in the media say the actor is having a baby boy via a surrogate mother with his wife Gauri.

Shah Rukh Khan who according to multiple media reports is expecting a baby boy with wife Gauri via surrogacy is in a soup new reports say.

The superstar has got into trouble with the state health department as the sex of his unborn child has been determined. 

Sex determination is illegal in India and so the radiologists' association has complained to the state health department asking them to find out first if the news is true and then if true how Khan and his wife know about the sex of their unborn child.

Sources say that the Indian Radiological and Imaging Associations (IRIA) objected to the Jab Tak Hain Jaan star finding out the sex of his unborn child as the sex ratio across Maharashtra, including Mumbai is in a bad shape. The association it is said is contemplating strict action against radiologists for conducting illegal sex determination.

An investigation into the matter has been demanded and an email to the top state health department officials, including state health minister Suresh Shetty has been sent, according to multiple sources. 

If the news is true then Khan will be guilty of breaking the law and as a celebrity he would have set a wrong example.

Gauri and Shah Rukh Khan have refused to comment on the news neither denying nor confirming it. 

Sex determination is allowed in other countries and if the couple found out the sex of their child abroad it will be legal.
