Incidentally, when UTV officials met Rohit Shetty for a casual meeting since the two are working on CHENNAI EXPRESS, this topic somehow came up. Rohit, who has had an exceptional relationship with Ashtavinayak having made the super hit GOLMAAL series with them, agreed to speak to Ashtavinayak and suddenly things fell in place. Rohit was extremely helpful, he immediately spoke to Ashtavinayak and helped us get the title from them."
