Is Poonam Pandey getting Rs 2 crore for 'Bigg Boss 7'?

Poonam Pandey is not someone to cry over spilled milk! Not sulking over the failure of her first film Nasha, the strip sensation may be making merry as she has reportedly been offered over Rs 2 crore for the new season of Bigg Boss.

Poonam Pandey, who likes to be in the limelight with her stripping antics on Twitter, is apparently wanted for Bigg Boss 7. “For this season of 'Bigg Boss' Poonam was approached as well. She had asked Rs 3 crore, but they (officials of the show) agreed for Rs 2-2.5 crore. But she is not doing the show primarily due to monetary reasons,” a source is quoted as saying.

It’s even said that this isn’t the first time Poonam had been approached for the reality show. For earlier seasons too, the makers tried to bring her into the controversial show. But due to disagreement on the monetary part, Poonam couldn’t be a part of Bigg Boss.

Poonam Pandey has also appeared in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 4.

‘Bigg Boss 7’ is starting this September 15, but the final list of the participating celebs is not yet out. Poonam Pandey hasn’t made the news official, but she did post a news report on her clinching a Rs 2 crore deal for the show on her twitter account. Is this a yes, Poonam?

Box office: 'The Wolverine' steals a march on 'Issaq', 'Nasha' and 'Bajatey Raho'!!

Not for the first time, a Hollywood movie scored over new Bollywood releases at the Indian box office as the new Hindi releases Issaq, Nasha and Bajatey Rahoopened to a dull response in comparison with the Hugh Jackman-starrer The Wolverine. 

The Wolverine roared at the box office worldwide on its opening day, with $65 million from North America itself. In India, the film trumped the multiple small budget releases to register a good opening day collection of Rs. 3.15 crore net in its English and dubbed versions. 

Of the Hindi releases, Bajatey Raho managed a somewhat face-saving collection with the opening day figure ranging between Rs. 1.20 crore to Rs. 1.35 crore net. The film has got mixed reviews and will need to show a substantial rise on Saturday and Sunday to make an impact. 

Poonam Pandey’s much awaited debut Nasha opened to poor reviews and fared decently only at single screens. The film’s first day collection is likely to be in the ballpark of Rs. 90 lakh. 

Similarly, Issaq, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet starring Prateik Babbar and newcomer Amyra Dastur, saw a lukewarm response with a first day collection in the range of Rs. 1 crore. The film has mostly got poor reviews. 

The other release, Luv U Soniyo, unanimously panned by the critics, opened dismally. 

Meanwhile, the last week’s release D-Day rounded off its first week at Indian box office with Rs. 26 crore net. Ramaiya Vastavaiya was just marginally better with Rs. 26.80 crore in first week. 

All eyes are now set on the big releases of August: Chennai Express, Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara!, Madras Cafe and Satyagraha.

Movie Review: Poonam Pandey's 'Nasha' is miserable!!

Many of us during our early college/school life have bunked the lectures and went to see some soft porn playing at a nearest cinemas in "Morning Shows". I am trying to take you in a Flash-Back because Poonam Pandey's Nasha falls exactly in those films category.

Director Amit Saxena who debuted with Bipasha Basu's Jism in 2003, Directs this film. But after watching Nasha, I assure you that you might start to hate Jism too. 

Nasha is a story of Sex and Obsession where Shivam an 18 year old boy falls in love with a woman Poonam Pandey who is in her 25 (Which she obviously doesn't look). Later Shivam starts fantasizing her sexually. The love which later turns into hopeless sexual fantasies. 


Trust me, Poonam Pandey as an actress is very bad and awful. Despite of her 'Publicity-Hungry' striptease stunts and challenges, She couldn't give a single decent expression in any of the love making scenes from the film. 

She made herself a 'Wannabe' brand of Kim Kardashian but after Nasha, I don't think you want to see her in acting again. New boy Shivam acted well. In fact this was the only cast which went perfectly well. Rest of the characters were boring. 


I have no clue what went wrong with Amit Saxena's brain when he chose this film to make. Or may be it was Poonam Pandey's heavy obsession? How come a talented director like Amit Saxena make this? 

The story which could have been handled tactfully, Leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Camera work and Production Values are just alright. Music is good but doesn't help the film in it's proceedings. 


If you are planning to watch Nasha for your personal reasons (Which obviously you know well where i am hinting at), Kindly check your DVD library for some nice international titles. I have heard nowadays even Spanish porn makers makes amazing films on such issues. . Ahem! Ahem!! (No offense to anyone please). 


And if you are looking for something Indian? Search the Torrents because Nasha sucks big time!

I'm Not A Porn Star: Poonam Pandey

Controversy queen Poonam Pandey, ready for her Bollywood innings with bold project " Nasha", is fed up of being compared to Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone.

"I am tired of this comparison. I don't know why people compare me with Sunny Leone. I'm here to act and you will see me acting in the film. There are intimate scenes in the film, but there is also a love story. I'm not a porn star. Please don't compare me with Sunny Leone," Poonam said.

Twitter queen Poonam who always has one or the other logic to justify her limelight logging gimmicks has once again stormed the gossip aisles by her another raunchy statement. While responding to one of the query pertaining to her comparison with Indo-Canadian diva Sunny Leone, Poonam at a recent event quoted that she hated to be compared with her and her list of favourite stars comprise of actresses like Rekha, Madhuri and Kajol.

Speaking about her debut flick "Nasha" Poonam added that besides some intimate scenes, the movie has got lot more things in the offering and will surely be liked by the masses.

Poonam further added that, she opted for such a bold film because through it she will get ample opportunity to exhibit her acting prowess. She said people want to see her the way she looks on the screen and one should not have any problem in it.


Besides this, while responding about her prurient gimmicks and her habit of flaunting her curves in skimpy clothes, Poonam stated that, "I am doing a social service by wearing less clothes as people enjoy a lot by watching me in these dresses."

Delhi & Mumbai Angers Over Poonam Pandey's Poster

Model-turned actress Poonam Pandey is once again in the midst of a new controversy as the bold posters from her debut Bollywood movie Nasha has angered the people of Mahim area in Mumbai. A group of protestors tore the intimate posters and set them on fire on July 20.

The incident comes a day after the residents of Seemapuri in northwest Delhi burned the posters of the bold film and further went to the local police station to complain about these posters.

Poonam, who has high hopes from Nasha is shocked to hear about the incident and has said that she is ready to apologise if the people felt offended in any way.

Nasha Copy Of Supermodel Poster : Veena Malik

The first look of Veena Malik-starrer "Supermodel" was released Wednesday and the poster of the film bears a clear resemblance to Poonam Pandey's Nasha poster, but the former claims her's is original.

"I want to start by saying that look and sequences are normally copied by other films but I think this is the first time when our film's poster has been copied. You have probably seen it in Nasha (poster)," Veena said here.

Veena hopes the scenes of the film are at least safe.

"When people start copying you at the start of your career, you feel kind of happy that people are copying you. So our poster has already been copied and I hope our film's sequences are safe till its release. After the release if someone copies our scenes, it would probably be a great honour for us," she said.

Director of Supermodel Navin Batra too claims they have proof that they made the original poster.

"We designed this poster two months back when the shoot was still on. Our poster has been copied by 'Nasha'. We have the copy, Facebook posts and date proofs. I request the media to highlight this issue," he said.

The film also features Ashmit Patel and has been completely shot in Fiji.

"Nasha" director Amit Saxena told : "The posters of 'Nasha' were designed six-seven months back. I don't know why they woke up now. The digital posters were released almost seven months back. In fact, our designs were ready a year back, so there is no question of copying."

Music Review: Poonam Pandey’s 'Nasha' songs entice you slowly!

Nasha music review; Music Director: Sangeet-Siddharth; Singers: Anirudh, Monali Thakur, Shaan, Anusha Mani, Akshay Deodhar, Sukriti Kakkar, Prakriti Kakkar, Sangeet, Siddharth; Rating *** The music of Amit Saxena-directed erotic movie Nasha has six tracks. In contrast to the film's theme, the songs are romantic and soothing. Music directors Sangeet and Siddharth's compositions will surprise listeners in a pleasant manner. The first song is "Tera nasha". Sung by Anirudh, it gradually gains in tempo without losing its smoothness. Anirudh has sung it in a very peaceful and cool tone. Although it might not be perfect in rhythm, the singer's surreal voice makes it a good song. There is no use of heavy music or too many instruments - only the guitar takes the lead. Next is "Laila", which has Monali Thakur behind the mike. A very sweet song, it is not an item number. While the track talks about the sensuality of a character, there is no heavy beats or 'dhinchak' feel to it. Monali scores well as she sings with a tinge of youthful ardour, giving it a vibrant feel. The whistling bit in the end is fun to hear. The male version of the song has been done by Sangeet and Siddharth and it is much softer. Singers Shaan and Anusha Mali come together to croon "Besharam". The lyrics are in layman's language and the track can very well attract the young college-going crowd because of its fresh and youthful appeal. The singers' voices complement each other. "Goti song" is a perfect combination of fun, uselessness and naughtiness and listeners may wonder about its purpose. Sung by Akshay Deodhar, Sukriti Kakkar and Prakriti Kakkar, it suddenly picks up pace and becomes a group song. The lyrics do get a little naughty, but at the same time they are funny and quirky. "Nasha Mix", the last track, is the only one with considerably fast beats. Being a mix, it has fast beats and punk in it. Sangeet Haldipur's voice adds a kind of romanticism to the song. The six tracks of Poonam Pandey’s "Nasha" do not have anything erotic. Rather the music is sweet, simple and has a very calm undertone. Of course, one cannot vouch for the videos of the songs, but the audio definitely is good and soothing in its own respect.

Comparison with Sunny Leone is 'silly': Poonam Pandey!!!

Poonam Pandey, who is happy with the response she is getting for Nasha's trailers claims that it's the love of her fans, but finds it silly when people compare her to Sunny Leone.

On being asked about her reaction on comparison with Sunny, she said, "I read many such stories, but I can't stop anyone from comparing me to people. If they want to compare me I hardly care."

"It sounds silly to compare me with Sunny. I am not here to compete with anyone. I am going my own way. I don't like to be compared and I don't think anyone can be compared to me," concluded Poonam.
