Crew member of Aamir Khan's film PK sent Behind Bars !!

A unit director of Aamir Khan's upcoming movie "PK" has been arrested for hurting religious sentiments during the shooting of a scene for the film, police said Friday.

The film crew member, whose name police refused to reveal, was arrested Wednesday and a case was registered against him after locals objected to a scene in which a man dressed as Lord Shiva was pulling a rickshaw in which two burqa-clad women were sitting.

"A case under section 295 A (injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religious of any class) and 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered against the unit director and the three actors at Kotwali police station," said a police official.

The unit members were shooting the scene in Chandni Chowk area Wednesday.

Initially, people thought the actors were members of a Ram Leela party but on seeing cameras, they inquired about the issue.

The actors told police that it was a dream sequence of the movie and they had all the legal documents and permission for shooting.

But a mob that gathered at the police station started shouting slogans that the film-makers were hurting religious sentiments, forcing police to take action.

The officer said that no case has been registered against Aamir Khan.

FIR lodged against makers of PK

It seems like the under production Rajkumar Hirani film P.K. featuring Aamir Khan has run into a spot of trouble. Apparently, an FIR has been lodged against Aamir, the director and the other actors of the movie. The complaint was lodged for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of people during the shooting of the film in Chandni Chowk area.

Apparently, the locals objected to a scene that featured a man dressed as Lord Shiva pulling a rickshaw which had two burqa-clad women. Though initially they thought the actors were members of a Ram Leela party, it was only after inquiring that they realized it was for a film shoot.

Will Aamir and Anushka kiss in P.K.?

Anushka said, “This is silly. It’s just gossip mongers. There are a lot of things to look forward to in P.K., but this will not happen.” The actor even added that in order to make such a record, the filmmakers will have to watch all Indian films that have ever involved a kiss and shoot their kiss accordingly…

We wonder if this bubbly babe was trying to say that it would involve too much of efforts. Well, with Aamir Khan involved, does one really need to worry about the efforts involved?

Aamir Khan starts his films from scratch: Sushant Singh Rajput

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who shares screen space with Aamir Khan in 'PK', praises his co-star saying that despite being so experienced, he starts from scratch.

"I didn't have too many scenes with Aamir. I had few conversations with him. He is very inspiring. Whatever projects he starts with, he starts it from scratch. He is still so inquisitive about small things. He is still so passionate when he has nothing to prove," said Sushant, who started his film career with 'Kai Po Che!' and will next be seen in 'Shuddh Desi Romance'.

Aamir praised his work in his debut film too.

"He just said that he liked me in 'Kai Po Che!" and it's very overwhelming," added the young actor.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'PK' also features Sanjay Dutt.

Sushant, who is dating his co-star Ankita Lokhande, plans to get married by the end of the year. They both featured in the TV show 'Pavitra Rishta'.

He said: "I do believe in marriage. By the end of this year or by next year I will get married. I am 27, I can get married anytime."

Will Aamir Get His Holiday?

It is a known fact that superstars opt for a holiday release of their films. However, there may be an exception next year, what with all holidays already booked and the release date of Aamir Khan’s P.K. not announced yet.

The way things stand as of now, Salman Khan will be bringing Mental on the Republic Day weekend, Yash Raj’s Gunday and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti are arriving on Valentine’s Day and Hrithik Roshan’s Bang Bang is slotted for Labour Day. Independence Day will see Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor’s next while Eid will see Salman’s Kick. Hrithik’s Shuddhi is set for a Diwali release and Ranbir is eyeing Christmas for Bombay Velvet.
An industry observer says, “This leaves only Gandhi Jayanti for Aamir. Since Happy New Year and Gabbar will be going on the floors soon, that slot will have many takers. Of course Aamir, whose film is already in progress, stands a better chance.” Fingers crossed to see who wins the race.

Aamir Khan's PK to be completed before winter 2013

With two prominent projects Rajkumar Hirani's P.K.and Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Dhoom 3, running parallelly, superstar Aamir Khan has been currently juggling between both.

He may be known for concentrating one film at a time, however this year he stuck with two and rumormongers revealed that Aamir had to commence work on P.K. much before Dhoom 3, but somehow it could not happen and it has been shifted till this year’s October and November.

Dhoom 3 is third installment of the popular Dhoomseries featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra in their original roles as Jai Dixit and Ali Khan, while Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen as antagonists. Report says the shooting of the film had been scheduled to conclude by the September-October this year but now it will be postponed, and in that time P.K. will be completed. 

As per Aamir, “Even the shooting of P.K. will be completed by October-November.” While still on the two most awaited releases, Dhoom 3 will release in December 2013, Hirani's P.K. will hit the screens only next year.
