FIR lodged against makers of PK

It seems like the under production Rajkumar Hirani film P.K. featuring Aamir Khan has run into a spot of trouble. Apparently, an FIR has been lodged against Aamir, the director and the other actors of the movie. The complaint was lodged for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of people during the shooting of the film in Chandni Chowk area.

Apparently, the locals objected to a scene that featured a man dressed as Lord Shiva pulling a rickshaw which had two burqa-clad women. Though initially they thought the actors were members of a Ram Leela party, it was only after inquiring that they realized it was for a film shoot.

The FIR was lodged under section 295 A (injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religious of any class) and 153 A of Indian Penal Code (IPC) (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language) against the actors.

Happy Birthday Sanju Baba!!

Today is the birthday of the Munnabhai of Bollywood, Sanjay Dutt who is presently serving his jail term in Yerwada jail in connection to the 1993 bomb blast case. Sanjay is a prominent name in the Hindi film industry because of his films like Saajan, Khalnayak, Vaastav: The Reality, Mission Kashmir, Kaante, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Parineeta and many more. He has turned 54 today.

He has been wished by his Bollywood friends like Ranbir Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani and Bunty Walia who have sent him letters on this special day. A source revealed, "Several Bollywood folk want to wish him on his birthday. They want him to know that he is remembered and missed. As writing letters is the only way to communicate with him and greet him, they have expressed their thoughts for the star." The source said more, "It is highly unlikely that his family members can meet him on the day. As visits are restricted to once a month, their next meet is due in August."

Born on July 29, 1959 to Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt, Sanjay debuted with Rocky in 1981. After going through a troubled young age because of his addiction to drugs, he was always under the protection of his father. Before establishing himself as a lead hero in Bollywood, Sanjay had to undergo a struggling phase in the industry. After his success with Saajan in 1991, finally in 1993 Khalnayak proved his acting talent at its best. He became a favourite actor among his fans in his negative avatar mostly. But the much-awaited fame of Sanjay arrived with the Munna Bhai series as it showed an unconventional Sanjay to his fans. He always maintained to stay in the headlines for both his wrong doings as well as his charitable efforts, simultaneously. We wish the Bollywood superstar a very happy 54th birthday.
