Kapil Sharma's show Comedy Nights With Kapil will shoot it's first episode post the fire accident in Lonavala and the first guest in this very special episode will be Akshya Kumar, who will be promoting his upcoming film Boss. Comedy Nights With Kapil had a major set back last week when the entire sets of the show caught on fire due to short circuit and got destroyed. The close estimate of the loss was said to be around 20 to 22 crores. But the support from across the industry, including Shahrukh Khan, Lata Mangeshkar, Rohit Shetty and many others. Akshay Kumar will be promoting his upcoming film Boss on the show and it is also said that Ronit Roy will also be accompanying him in this episode. The last time Akshay was on Comedy Nights with Kapil, he was promoting his film Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara and he was seen having a gala time on the sets interacting with the cast. The Comedy Nights with Kapil is said to be shot on the sets of Bigg Boss 7 for the time being until their new set, which apparently is going to have a lot many new elements, is all set to shoot. All in all, Kapil Sharma's show, Comedy Nights With Kapil will resume it's normal schedule from this week onwards to guarantee us a fun weekend. Kapil Sharma's latest tweet on 3rd October at around 10:26 said, "Today shooting wid Akshay Kumar n kangana ranaut on big boss set in lonavla..I knw u all r missing comedy nights..see u on Sunday at 10 pm."

After a massive fire engulfed the sets of the comedy show Comedy Nights With Kapil last week destroying the massive property, the standup comedian’s B-town friends have come up with full force to provide him monetary support

Shahrukh Khan is leading the Bollywood brigade, who’s expressing their solidarity and concern with Kapil Sharma, whose popular comedy show – Comedy Nights With Kapilcaught fire on September 25. The producer-comedian couldn’t have asked for more!

It’s learnt that along with SRK, B-town biggies – Lata Mangeshkar and Rohit Shetty also called Kapil not only to express their concern and grief but also offered economic support. “I got a call from Lataji and she asked if I need any kind of help, whether monetary or anything. Her call was a big thing,” Kapil said adding, “Also Shahrukh Khan, Rohit Shetty and lot of people from the industry called me and said ‘hum tumhare saath hai, batao kitne din mein set khada karna hai’. I am truly overwhelmed. The industry is like a family.”

Considering King Khan visited Sharma’s madcap house twice (for Chennai Express promotion), his affection for the comedian is totally understood, but surprisingly the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa host was surprised to receive calls from the legendary singer and the Chennai Express director.

However, Kapil is thrilled that the audience loves his show and he hopes it to continue. The two episodes supposed to be aired over weekend have already been shot. But, for the upcoming episodes they will be shooting on the sets of Bigg Boss Saath 7 show. Hmmm… we wonder how Salman Khan can be left behind as far as helping his industry friends is considered!

More trouble for Kapil Sharma; now embroiled in service tax controversy!

After a massive fire broke on the sets of the standup comedian’s show, he is now embroiled in a service tax controversy

Now we really feel that someone must have cast an evil eye on Kapil Sharma. First the set of his popular show Comedy Nights With Kapil caught fire yesterday and now we hear that he was questioned by Mumbai service tax department for five hours.

Reportedly, service tax department has booked Kapil for evading the service tax up to Rs 65 lakh. According to a source, “He (Kapil Sharma) had collected service tax, but didn’t pay the department.”

However, Kapil has assured that he will pay the service tax very soon. If he fails to do so, his bank accounts will be frozen by the tax department.

Believe you us, we are really feeling very sorry for the man.

Comedy Nights With Kapil: Fire breaks out on the sets!

Four fire tenders, four water tankers and an ambulance rushed to Goregaon Film City this morning after fire broke on the sets of the standup comedian’s popular show

The entire cast of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show was present when the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil caught fire. However, Kapil himself was not around when this mishap took place. Apparently,  fire broke out when the light men were setting up the lights on the sets for recording. While no causality has been reported as yet, it is believed that the whole set was blazing in flames when the fire brigade arrived. Colors spokesperson confirmed the news. He said, “Yes. An unfortunate accident took place on the sets ofComedy Nights With Kapil. But no major damage occurred. It was just a small fire in the costume and make up room.”

Sonu Nigam and child comedian Saloni were scheduled to visit the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil today. In fact, Sonakshi Sinha who is currently shooting for her filmRambo Rajkumar in the same vicinity tweeted about the same. “Massive fire on the set next to my Rambo Rajkumar shoot this morning! Hope no ones hurt!!!” posted the Dabangg babe.

Fire on the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil

Mumbai: Fire broke out on the sets of TV show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' Wednesday morning at Film City here.

"Today morning at around 6.30 fire broke out on the set, but luckily no one was injured. Everybody is safe," a source from Film City told IANS.

It is said that fire broke out in the control room of the set of the show hosted by popular comedian Kapil Sharma. There was no shoot going on at that time.

Four fire tenders were rushed to Film City to douse the blaze, sources said.

Singer Sonu Nigam, who was expected to enter the show as a guest celebrity, posted on Twitter saying: "Can you all imagine?! I get prepared for 'Comedy Nights with Kapil', and the set burns into ashes the same day."
