Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was recently spotted at a stem cell banking event by life cell, where she urged the people to opt for it. The actress also expressed her feelings about how Aaradhya has been a blessing in her and hubby Abhishek Bachchan's life.

Bollywood star couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tied the nuptial knot six years back in 2007 making it a grand Bollywood wedding and have a daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, who will turn two in November this year.

"A child is a gift from God and whenever it's meant to be it's meant to be... Aaradhya is an absolute blessing in our life... A very very special, very very loving fulfillment and I thank god for this blessing! You just have to be eternally grateful and thankful for the experience," said an elated mother Aishwarya.

Host Salman Khan is not averse to healthy flirting in Bigg Boss. His fondness for the female participants is evident. Anita even expressed her disgust over Armaan Kohli’s backing out from saving her from the eviction. She said that a friend has stabbed her in the back -- dost ne peeth mein chhura ghopa hai. Anita was quite close to both Tanishaa Mukerji and Armaan, and didn’t expect that the latter will not vote for her. The expelled celeb is given the right to save any one of the Bigg Boss 7 participant from the next week’s eviction, and Anita saved Tanishaa -- her angel.

Aaradhya is why Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shoots in Mehboob Studio

Bollywod actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has reportedly been shooting for her brand endorsements in Mehboob studio, close enough for her to drop her toddler Aaradhya with her mother and then rush back to work.

Those close to the actress say that Ash has requested the team shooting the ad to have it filmed at the Bandra studio that is a stone's throw away from her mother's apartment.

Says a source, "Aishwarya doesn't take her baby to her shoots. If she travels outside Mumbai, her mother accompanies her. For the shoot of her upcoming jewellery ad, she requested the brand honchos to shoot in Mehboob studio."

Aaradhya has already traveled with Ash to Cannes twice and even on all of her overseas shoots. The actress apparently prefers to plan her schedule in advance, keeping her child's comfort and convenience in mind.

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan says that he's a hands-on dad when he's around his beautiful daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Abhishek : I am used to people whistling at Aishwarya

Actor Abhishek Bachchan said on Monday that even though his wife, Aishwarya Rai, is the most beautiful woman, he never whistled at her, but courted her through his gestures, emotions, and words.

"I am used to people whistling at my wife... see my wife then you will know why I am saying this. I have never whistled at her to woo her... I don't think it's the right thing to do. I courted her through my gesture, emotions and words," said Abhishek.

Interjecting, Aishwarya said: "This is why I am married to him."

Abhishek, who has been married to Aishwarya for seven years now, says she is a wonderful cook and she makes good desserts.

"She cooks really well... in fact she makes good desserts. When we were newly-married, there is a Bengali custom where the girl has to make some sweet and she prepared halwa which was too good. More than anything else, it is the emotion and with love you cook that matters."

Aishwarya Rai working hard for Happy Anniversary

Actress Aishwarya Rai is returning to the arclights with Abhishek Bachchan in Happy Anniversary and the film's producer says she will be back on the big screen in the same avatar as seen in Dhoom 2.

Aishwarya's grunge look and size zero in that hit action-thriller became a rage at that time.

"Aishwarya is working hard for the film. She is working hard to lose weight. I can say she will be seen as 'Dhoom Girl' in the film," the film's producer Doshi told IANS.

Doshi, who has produced films like Bawandar and Aankhen, said it was the script that convinced the actress who had taken a sabbatical after becoming a mother.

Set to go on the floors early next year, Happy Anniversary will be directed by Prahlad Kakkar and will hit the screens next year itself.

"I share a good relationship with Mr. Bachchan but it was the script that convinced Aishwarya and Abhishek. I think Abhi and Ash are the ideal couple and they both look good together. The film will be widely shot in South Africa," said Doshi.

Aishwarya Rai Loses 'Ram Leela' Item Song to Priyanka Chopra?

Looks like the comeback of Aishwarya Rai won’t be as soon as the fans expect it to be.

The strong buzz about Aishwarya Rai’s comeback with an item song in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Ram Leela seem to be fizzling out with the news that it’s Priyanka Chopra who’s edged Ash out to land the song.

Recently, Ash even confirmed that she was in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

“I think I should leave it to the respected people to make the announcement, if there are any. And, have we been in talks? Yes, but the conclusion of it, when we arrive at it, there will be announcements made,” clarified Aishwarya Rai at the launch of Lodha Group’s new project ‘The Park’.

We hear Bhansali has zeroed in on Priyanka Chopra for the item song with Ranveer Singh in Ram Leela. The song’s shoot will begin in Film City in a week’s time and the costume designer Anju Modi has reportedly been briefed about designing outfits for Priyanka.

As for Aishwarya Rai, looks like Bhansali may have something bigger planned than an item song. A movie, may be!

Aishwarya Rai was recently in the news, when it was reported that she'd been signed up by Sanjay Leela Bhansali to do an item number in his next movie 'Ram Leela', which has Deepika Padukoneand Ranveer Singh in lead roles. Reports suggested that Aishwarya's hubby Abhishek Bachchan was instrumental in convincing her to come out of her self-imposed sabbatical, following the birth of their daughter. Sanjay, though, has denied signing her for a number in his film.

And while fans eagerly wait for the former beauty queen to take a break from her motherly duties and get back to the silver screen, Kajol, we hear, has expressed her desire to shake a leg to a special number. We take a look at some older beauties who have sizzled onscreen in item numbers.

Madhuri Dixit in Ghagra (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) This dancing queen has, in the past, put her graceful moves on display in songs like Ek Do Teen (Tezaab) and Ke Sera Sera(Pukar), among others, from her films, but the Ghagra song was perhaps her first full-fledged item number. Raveena Tandon in Chandigarh ki Star (Buddah...Hoga Terra baap) This wasn't the first time that Raveena was seen in an item number. Back in the day, songs featuring her, likeTu Cheez Badi Hai Mast (Mohra) and Sheher Ki Ladki (Rakshak), were quite popular and continue to be on the list of Bollywood's best item numbers. But her appearance in a special song for the film Buddah... Hoga Terra Baap, which had Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, wasn't quite the right choice for a comeback, as it went completely unnoticed.

Rekha in Kaisi Paheli Zindagani (Parineeta) This seductress, who has done a lot of mujras in the past, did an item number in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 2006 film Parineeta, which had Vidya Balan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead. The veteran actress gave younger heroines and item girls a run for their money, as she looked her sensuous best, clad in a red sari, in her comeback song.

Aishwarya Rai To Make A Comeback With An Item Song?

Though her fans are eagerly waiting her return to the silver screen, doting mum Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is taking her own time to return to films.

But if reports are to be believed then Aishwarya, who is known to share a special equation with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has reportedly been approached to do an item song in his upcoming film Ram Leela.

Aishwarya has worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in films like Guzaarish, Devdas and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

According to sources, Bhansali is keen that Aishwarya sign up for the special dance number in the Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone starrer.

Aishwarya who received much flak for her post-pregnancy appearance has gotten back into shape and silenced critics and the media at her recent appearances.

Till further updates, her fans wait with baited breath to see the former Miss World on the silver screen once again.

Newsbreak: Aishwarya-Abhishek to come together for Himesh's Masoom Remake!!

Himesh Reshammiya has been awfully low-profile these days. Quietly we hear he has negotiated for the remake rights of Shekhar Kapoor's 1983 classic Masoom which starred Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi as a couple grappling with the reality of an illegitimate son in the husband's life.

The tearjerker had melted hearts across the nation immediately establishing Shekhar Kapoor as a formidable filmmaking force.

Now 30 years later Himesh Reshamiyya has bought the remake rights of Masoom from the original producers Chanda Dutt and Devi Dutt. The remake would be directed by Bedobrata Pain whose historical drama Chittagong last year received lavish critical acclaim. 
What's more, Himesh has zeroed in on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan to play the two roles immortalized by Shabana Azmi and Naseeruddin Shah.

According to a very reliable source, Abhishek and Aishwarya have agreed in principle to be in Himesh's remake.

Aishwarya Rai’s new statue at Musée Grévin wax museum!!

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai already has her share of wax statues at different Madame Tussauds museums. Now, she’s become the first Bollywood actress to make it to the Musée Grévin wax museum. Here’s a sneak peek of Ash’s statue to be unveiled at the Montreal branch of the Musée Grévin wax museum. Musée Grévin is one of the oldest wax museums in Europe. It had first approached Aishwarya Rai way back in 2008 for a wax statue, but she was busy back then. The actress was approached by the museum again in 2011. But then she was pregnant. However, Aishwarya was graceful enough to take out a few hours for the Musée Grévin team to take her facial measurements. Since she was pregnant, the artists referred her photos for the statue’s figure. Reportedly, the wax statue took about six months to make. Its look seems inspired from one of Ash’s Cannes appearances (right in the photo above). Musée Grévin already has the wax statue of Shahrukh Khan. The museum houses the wax replicas of international celebs like Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz, among others. Aaradhya Bachchan, Azad Rao head to school

The latest buzz is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have started scouting for play schools for their li'l bundle of joy, Aaradhya. It seems Aaradhya Bachchan is very tech savvy and grasps things easily. And the Bachchan family would want nothing but the best for their sweet baby girl.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao's kid Azad Rao Khan has already started going to play school. In fact, we spotted a recent picture of Azad being accompanied by his nanny and a bodyguard. It seems daddy has already hired one to protect his li'l master from detractors. We are sure the tiny tots are gonna have some fun kiddie times in school...!

Incidentally, Sohail Khan's younger son and Preeti Jhangiani's son are Azad's classmates.

Amitabh Bachchan, who regularly greets fans over the weekend, surprised his well wishers when he introduced his granddaughter Aaradhya to them. The tot, who looked adorable in a pink frock, was also accompanied by her parents Aishwarya and Abhishek.
