Ranbir Kapoor has often been linked to the actresses he has worked with in films. From Deepika to Katrina, much has been said about their chemistry on screen. On his 31st birthday, here is a list of heroines he has worked with.

Deepika started working with Ranbir is 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' and the two fell in love. Their real chemistry worked wonders for them in reel life. Though, the two fell out of love after sometime and yet again came back together in Ayan Mukherjee's 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. Their chemistry was crackling and the film went onto make records at the box office.

Priyanka Chopra romanced Ranbir twice in 'Barfi' as well as 'Anjaana Anjaani'. There is no denying the fact that they look good onscreen. More than the looks, both of them are superb performers and complement each other on screen.

Ranbir's once close friend Sonam Kapoor also worked with him in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Saawariya'. The two were much appreciated in the film.

Sridevi Turns 50 !!

Last year was quite eventful for Sridevi, who returned to the big screen with a hit film, English Vinglish. Now, husband Boney Kapoor is clubbing this success with the celebrations for her birthday (today; August 13) and throwing a grand party on August 17.

"It’s a celebration of a good year. Many others have thrown parties for her; it’s my turn now,” says Boney.

Meanwhile, Sridevi plans to spend her birthday with family — her sisters and brothers-in-law who are visiting her from Chennai.

What are your plans for your birthday?
I hate celebrating birthdays. Boneyji is throwing a party, but that’s for reasons other than my birthday. Earlier, when I would go for shoots with my mother, I’d ask her not to tell others that it was my birthday. I don’t like cutting cakes; I just love to spend time with my family and friends.

Any special birthday memory?
My parents would make my birthday special, not with an elaborate celebration but by making a card for me and with other simple things. Now my daughters make cards. They stay up till midnight, though they have to wake up early for school. They decorate the house with balloons, which is cute and touching.

What has been the best gift you have received on your birthday?
All the cards from my kids. As for Boneyji, I don’t give him a chance to buy me gifts. I buy them myself and tell him, ‘This is your birthday gift to me’ (laughs).

Who is the first one to wish you every year?
My daughters and my husband.

What will keep you busy this year? 
There are a few film offers; I think we will finalise something soon.

The pup is in quarantine
It was reported recently that Sridevi had to leave a pup she bought for her daughter back in the US as the family didn’t have proper papers and hadn’t got permission to get the dog to India.

The actor says, "My daughter liked a pup and we bought it there. We were aware of all the rules and regulations; Boneyji has already applied for permission to get the pup to India. As per the requirements, the pup is in quarantine in the US. We will get him here only after we get all the permissions."

Happy Birthday Kajol !!

Born on August 5, 1974 Kajol is a successful Bollywood star. She is the daughter of yesteryear actor Tanuja and film director Shomu Mukherjee. Known for her incredible silverscreen success and commendable acting, Kajol created a niche for herself in the industry.

Happy Birthday Sanju Baba!!

Today is the birthday of the Munnabhai of Bollywood, Sanjay Dutt who is presently serving his jail term in Yerwada jail in connection to the 1993 bomb blast case. Sanjay is a prominent name in the Hindi film industry because of his films like Saajan, Khalnayak, Vaastav: The Reality, Mission Kashmir, Kaante, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Parineeta and many more. He has turned 54 today.

He has been wished by his Bollywood friends like Ranbir Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani and Bunty Walia who have sent him letters on this special day. A source revealed, "Several Bollywood folk want to wish him on his birthday. They want him to know that he is remembered and missed. As writing letters is the only way to communicate with him and greet him, they have expressed their thoughts for the star." The source said more, "It is highly unlikely that his family members can meet him on the day. As visits are restricted to once a month, their next meet is due in August."

‘Desi Girl’ Priyanka Chopra Turns 31!

Priyanka Chopra – who has earned worldwide acclaim with her beauty and brains – has turned a year older today.

Undoubtedly one of the most famous celebrities in India, Priyanka first made her mark after winning the coveted Miss World title in the year 2000.

Known for her svelte figure, superb acting prowess and singing talent, Priyanka was born to Ashok and Madhu Chopra - both physicians in the Indian Army – on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur.

The 31-year-old forayed into the Hindi film industry with ‘Andaaz’ in 2002. However, the film failed to create ripples at the Box Office. After a number of failed attempts, Priyanka gained success with Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don’.

This fame, too, was short lived as she had to bear with a string of unsuccessful films in her kitty. The beauty queen got a major break with Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’ in which she played an over ambitious model Meghna Mathur.
