Krish 3 Character Had Maximum Impact On Hrithik Roshan's Life...

Krrish 3 is a superhero science fiction film which is directed by Rakesh Roshan. The film will continue the story of Rohit Mehra and his superhero son Krrish. After Koi... Mil Gaya (2003) and Krrish (2006), this is the third film in the Krrish series. Releasing on November 1, the film also stars Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut.

After he signed on to play Kaal, the villain inKrrish 3, Vivek worked extensively on his character and the look in the film. When he was sure of what he had thought, he told directorRakesh Roshan and co-star Hrithik Roshan that he wanted to show them his vision of the evil in the superhero flick. He got his make-up and hair done as per the conception, wore the costume, sat in a wheel-chair and went over to meet the Roshans in the get-up at their residence. 

Within five seconds of walking into the room to meet Vivek, the Roshans are said to have exclaimed, 'Perfect!' And that's how Krrish 3 got its Kaal.

Ever since Chennai Express set the cash registers ringing and earned a mammoth Rs. 225 crores at the domestic box office, trade pundits have been predicting that Krrish 3and Dhoom 3 are the films that can beat the record set by the Shahrukh Khan-starrer. On the sidelines of the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2013 (See photos), when a reporter asked Hrithik Roshan if ‘Krrish 3’ will break the previous box office records, the dapper actor replied: “See, whether this film will break box office records or not, I cannot say that. But we have worked really hard on the film and like we always say, we leave it to destiny now. All the best to all of us.” Congratulating GQ India on its fifth anniversary, Hrithik Roshan said: “A very happy fifth birthday to GQ. The contribution of GQ to this world is unimaginable; more than we realize, actually. The kind of variety and the kind of guidance that they give us, aspiring people who want to learn about style, is immeasurable...so I just wanna thank GQ.” Looking handsome in a suit, Hrithik Roshan sported a ponytail at the award function. Hrithik Roshan Goes 'Bang Bang' Again

The 39-year-old actor underwent a brain surgery on July 7 to remove a blood clot. Hrithik had an head injury while performing a stunt for the movie.

Hrithik Roshan will resume shooting for Siddharth Anand's Bang Bang by mid November.

The third schedule of the film was supposed to go on the floors from July 10 but the project got delayed due to his brain surgery last month.

"I am doubly charged and looking forward to resuming my amazing journey with the team ofBang Bang from mid November. We promise to give our best to making the film one of the finest ever," Hrithik said in a statement.

The actor teams up with Katrina Kaif again after Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in 2011.

Siddharth said he opted for November shoot because Hrithik would get busy with the promotions of "Krrish 3".

"Hrithik is raring to go and his enthusiasm is infectious. But his home production Krrish 3's release on November 4 is around the same time and he will be fully involved with its promotions. So we decided to start the third schedule of Bang Bang in mid-November," the director said.

The release date of the film has also been shifted from May next year to October 2, 2014.

"Given Hrithik's revised schedule, we are now resuming our shoot in mid-November and have decided to lock the four-day Dusshera weekend of 2014. So we will come all guns blazing on October 2, and the date will coincide with the country's festive season," said Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios, producers of the film.

Hrithik Roshan Raring To Get Back In Action

Post his brain surgery last week, Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is back home and hopes to return to work as soon as possible.

The 39-year-old 'Krrish' star underwent the surgery to remove a two-month-old clot caused due to an injury he sustained while shooting for 'Bang Bang'.

Hrithik has been advised four-weeks of rest and after that the actor promises to be back in action.

"I can't afford to take a sick leave. This throws a lot of lives, lives of people very dear to me, completely out of whack. But I cannot worry, that solves nothing. I have to focus on what can be," Hrithik said in a statement.

"All I have to do is take a decision... I decide that I have the power to turn a curse into a boon, as I have done in the past. I will make up for this in the most wonderful way imaginable for all the people concerned," he said.

Hrithik's much awaited super-hero film 'Krrish 3' directed by his father Rakesh Roshan, will release on November 4. The shooting schedule of his upcoming film 'Bang Bang' has been postponed till he recuperates.

Hrithik's brain surgery: Blood clot may be result of death-defying stunts

Surgery took place yesterday afternoon

Hrithik Roshan was rushed to a suburban hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, July 6. The actor had returned from a US holiday a week ago and had also launched the poster of hisKrrish 3 in Hyderabad. He was on cloud nine at that point. But it is said, he took ill almost immediately after that.

Hrithik, who has been having a severe back and knee condition, was resting at home because he was getting spasms in his back. But this time, he was also getting nasty headaches and failed to understand what exactly was happening.

We heard that on Friday night, he had a word with his mother Pinky and told her about the recurring headaches. And that's when his family doctor suggested an MRI. Our source says, "Reports showed a blood clot in the brain and it was decided that he undergo surgery immediately.'' The actor's wife, Sussanne Roshan, who was still overseas, cut short her trip and flew into Mumbai in the wee hours of July 7.

And, the Bollywood superstar was adamant that he would get wheeled into the operation theatre only after he met her and spent some time talking to his two sons — Hrehaan and Hridhaan. So, the operation was scheduled for around 1 o'clock on Sunday.

While the exact cause for his ailment is not known, it is being suggested that the clot is a result of some of the death-defying stunts that the actor has done in a couple of his recent films. "Hrithik has been having severe back issues,'' added the source. "And he had been undergoing treatment for this in Singapore and Delhi. However, the news of the blood clot threw everyone in his family into a tizzy.''

Hrithik's parents Rakesh and Pinky, his elder sister Sunaina were present at the hospital when the actor got admitted, and so were a couple of his dear, non-film friends. The family members were not keen to speak to the media till after the surgery and were indeed quite nervous. Rakesh Roshan thanked TOI for our good wishes for his son's surgery. The hospital sources also wished to remain tight-lipped till the procedure was over. One heard the actor was being cared for by neurosurgeon, Dr Misra.



Incidentally, the actor was scheduled to fly to Prague on Saturday night for a schedule of Bang Bang. However, all his shooting schedules may now be postponed by at least three-to-four weeks because of his surgery. He will not be in a condition to do action till such time as he recovers completely.

It has been a trying time for the Roshans. Just about two weeks ago, Hrithik's maternal grandfather, filmmaker J Om Prakash, also underwent heart surgery. We learnt that the octogenarian had four stents in the same artery and was immediately advised surgery. "The entire family was most concerned about J Omji's condition and he had just about stabilised when the news of Hrithik's clot broke. But everyone is being brave,'' said a friend.

Hrithik Roshan To Undergo Brain Surgery Today

Hrithik Roshan, one of the reigning stars of the Hindi film industry, will undergo a brain surgery Today at Hinduja Hospital.

Reportedly the actor's surgery will take place around 2 p.m. or 3 p.m.
Hrithik's father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, told: "It's a clot between brain and skull. So, basically it's a clot in brain. He will undergo the surgery around 2 p.m. or 2.30 p.m. In the medical term, it's called chronic subdural hematoma. Me and my entire family is with him."

Hrithik, the star of films like "Krrish" and "Agneepath", informed everyone about the surgery through his tweet on the microblogging site.

The 39-year-old's tweet reads: "We all know that we create a life of joy using the power of our mind. I've had the privilege of creating wonders with this amazing gift given to us called the brain. On June 27, Hrithik unveiled the first look of his superhero film "Krrish 3" on Facebook. The much anticipated sci-fi thriller is set to hit the screens Nov 4, a day after Diwali this year.

As part of the digital campaign, the motion poster was launched through social networking site Facebook and the actor had a live video chat with his fans, said a statement.

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who plays female lead in the movie also joined the actor.

Krrish 3 to hit screens on November 4

It's final. Krrish 3 is set to release on November 4, a day after Diwali this year, says filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. 

"Krrish 3 will finally release on November 4, that is Monday," said producer-director Rakesh Roshan confirming the final release date of the film for the first time. 

Rakesh Roshan also confirmed for the first time that the first official trailer of the film would be attached to Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express.

"Yes our trailers will be out on August 8," he added. 

Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan had been in talks to decide the crucial Diwali release date for Krrish 3.

While earlier the film was to be released on Sunday, November 3, which is Diwali, the Roshans were under pressure to postpone the release by a day. 

"The Diwali day, that is November 3, had been locked in for the release. But then distributors and exhibitors felt people like to stay home on Diwali night for Laxmi Puja. It was felt November 4, that is the day after Diwali, would be far more favourable as a release date for Krrish 3," said a source close to the Roshans.
